TD Focus-Scan®
The TD Focus-Scan is our flagship multifunction ultrasonic inspection system.
Designed and manufactured by AGR Field Operations to the most exacting
international standards, the system is designed to seamlessly perform
multi-channel Phased Array, Time-Of-Flight-Diffraction (TOFD), Pulse Echo,
Corrosion Mapping and ASME compliant Girth/Seam weld examinations in every area
of engineering endeavor.
TD Focus-Scan units are in service worldwide in a diverse spread of industries
including: aerospace, automotive, petro-chemical, offshore, engineering
maintenance, rail, marine, research, education, manufacturing and fabrication.
The instruments are used by NDT specialists in both quality control and
fitness-for-service environments and applied to pipeline fabrication &
maintenance, pressure vessel fabrication & in-service investigations, welding in
various applications, material degradation investigations and condition
monitoring.

GENERAL SPECIFICATION
The TD Focus-Scan is one of the world’s most advanced industrial ultrasonic
imaging and analysis systems, providing the user with portability and the
ability to satisfy today’s most demanding ultrasonic inspection requirements.
The TD Focus-Scan provides a staggering amount of capability in a portable
system.
The TD Focus-Scan is extremely versatile and user friendly in that it features
an integrated QWERTY keyboard with mouse control, shortcut keys and 10 inch
monitor. In addition the TD Focus-Scan can also be controlled from a remote PC
via Ethernet or have peripheral devices like monitors, multime-dia projectors,
mouse and external storage devices attached.
The TD Focus-Scan system provides outstanding capability for the application of
Phased Array, Single or Multi-channel, ToFD, Corrosion Mapping, Pulse Echo and
Girth/Seam weld examination. With 16 conventional and 64/32 phased array
channels as standard the TD Focus-Scan is without a doubt one of the most
powerful ultrasonic acquisition systems ever produced.
The system is supplied with a Windows® XP based, fully integrated, easy-to-use
software package for on-line and off-line analysis. Multiple configuration
channels provide the ability to present data from multiple probe sets, arrays or
indeed a single probe enabling simple or complex setups to be achieved with the
minimum of effort.
The TD Focus-Scan is also available in an IP65 rated enclosure for aggressive
environments.
