General Description:
Dry Method Non-Fluorescent Magnetic Powders are a
highly refined non-fluorescent gray magnetic powder used for dry method
magnetic particle inspection.
Dry Powder Method Non-Fluorescent Magnetic Powders are
designed to be used in visible light to reveal minute discontinuities
on fabricated components or weldments such as bridges, pipes, large tanks,
machinery and equipment. Available in 63 Red, 61 Gray, 66 Yellow, and
68 Blue magnetic powders are ready to use, free flowing,
general purpose magnetic powders designed to produce, superior indications
of surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous materials.
Particle Certification: Particles meet all relevant specifications, including but not limited to ASTM E-1444, AMS 3040, MIL-STD-271, NAVSEA 250-1500-1, NTR-1E.
